Ba Badum Ba Badum

Back in November we had our first "party" at Creekside Cottage. Since November we have had a couple other get togethers, but none have been as humorous as the first--Tim Bartel, the poet, playing Cranium. Let the hilarity ensue!

In Cranium, you have teams that compete by doing different challenges: drama, spelling, drawing, and trivia. The poet received a card where he had to hum a song. This usually is easy, if you know the song--this was not the case. He started off saying, "Ba ba-dum, ba ba-dum" which his team did not understand, but instead of changing what he was doing he repeated it. "Ba ba-dum, ba ba-dum. Ba ba-dum, ba ba-dum." Time went on, his team could not guess it. After 30 seconds of "ba ba-dum" it started getting funny. The poet would not change his tune, nor could his team guess it! "Ba ba-dum" continued for the length of the whole timer (approx. 1 minute!). After the timer stopped, the poet turned to us and said, in an obvious sort of mannor, "Don't Worry. Be Happy!" The whole group fell apart with laughter! How in the world were we supposed to guess that from "ba ba-dum!" This however, was nothing compared to the hilarity that insued from the poet acting out "reproduce!" That I will not describe; it was as bad as the imagination can create. :) Let the hilarity ensue!
